No Longer In Production
Patented

For over 6 years, Sealant Technologies has been working with the Graco E-10 to develop portable spray foam equipment. The Spray Pod 1.0 is one of the most versatile portable spray foam machine available. It allows anyone to inexpensively tighten and seal building envelopes of all kinds. The Spray Pod 1.0 can apply most polyurethane spray foams and the patent pending AireBarrier chemistries. This brings to market spray technology which can change the way that buildings are retrofitted.

The Spray Pod 1.0 is the standard in the growing portable spray foam equipment market as it is very flexible and user friendly. Select from any one of the Sealant Technologies spray foam systems, the patent pending AireBarrier or just about any two component ( 1:1 ) chemical which needs pressure and heat develop the blending system. You can also choose from any of our portable Graco spray foam machines or if you are just starting out, look at the CPDS spray machine.

The Spray Pod 1.0 is perfect for those who have projects at large complexes and are looking for a way to significantly reduce their energy useage. Whether there is a little or a lot of work, the Spray Pod 1.0 allows anyone to do regular maintenance projects quickly so that the building can be put back into production rapidly. This patented system allows it to operate as a production machine that is multitasking. The Spray Pod 1.0 can apply spray foam, spray sealants or many combinations of coatings.

The Spray Pod 1.0 offers a portable spray foam insulation machine that is designed specifically for delivering closed cell form or open cell foam. This spray machine combines the power and portability of our patented Spray Pod 1.0 which allows any operation to have a one man or small crew to do the work. The possibilities are endless as to how to use this system because now it is possible to do those small to medium sized projects which most spray operations avoid.

The ultimate goal of the Spray Pod 1.0 is to become the standard for the spray industry as the only multitasking portable system for dual component sealants, foams and coatings. Because of the short 50' hose and the unique 5 gal bucket holders, it is very easy to load new chemicals into the system and also change out the chemicals that are currently in the line. While there are some chemistry's that are not compatible and a complete flushing of the system much be implemented, there are many cases where the chemicals can be mixed and the operator can just continue to spray with a very short interruption of time to make that transition from one product to another.

With smart controls that are easy to setup and simple to operate, the Graco E-20 is a natural complement to any proportioning equipment line-up. Some of the features and benefits are it's small size, it's ideal for on-site portability and hard-to-reach areas. One-person operation saves time and money. It can be used as an add-on to your existing spray business. It is versatile - switch from cold spray to hot spray to foam and it saves 30% on material costs compared to disposable foam systems.

Also, because the Spray Pod 1.0 has the ability to get a trained crewed up and running is significantly reduced. The closed cell foam which Sealant Technologies provides is a 1.9lb water blown and it comes in convenient 5 gal pails which are easy to transport and to dispose of. The open cell foam is 0.5lb water blown and comes also comes in 5 gal pails. This spray foam insulation system can allow operators to do those smaller, maintenance type projects and still make money.

You don't think about it much until you are about to purchase your next trailer or container and you begin to look at how they are constructed. The challenge is that in most cases, most are built with cheap materials and the entire system leaks air. Like your house, if the trailer isn't tight and if there isn't any effort to make that trailer or container one solid envelope, then in the long run, it won't work.

Unlike a vapor retarder, which restricts the flow of water vapor through material by controlling the rate at which moisture diffuses into the building assembly, an air barrier restricts the flow of air, which may be carrying moisture with it. Retrofitting an existing roof system with high R-value insulation but ignoring the air leakage results in little payback – any air leaks must be treated at the source.

Air barriers are systems of materials designed and constructed to control airflow between a conditioned space and an unconditioned space. The air barrier system is the primary air enclosure boundary that separates indoor (conditioned) air and outdoor (unconditioned) air. In multi-unit/townhouse/apartment construction the air barrier system also separates the conditioned air from any given unit and adjacent units. Air barrier systems also typically define the location of the pressure boundary of the building enclosure.

Air barriers are intended to resist the air pressure differences that act on them. Rigid materials such as gypsum board, exterior sheathing materials like plywood or OSB, and supported flexible barriers are typically effective air barrier systems if joints and seams are sealed. Spray foam systems can also act as effective air barrier systems either externally applied over structural elements or internally applied within cavity systems.
